Stands there
Like a
Bodhi Tree
-
And I am
Awestruck
Like a little kid
-
We begin harmless
Or harmful
Depending on
-
How you look at
Everything
And nothing
-
In the blink
Of a
Revolving eye
-
And I always
Wanted
To see you naked
-
Because I am
Funny that way
Like a Catskill’s comedian
-
And you
Are a Goddess
And there’s no denying that
-
Even when
God is dead
And philosophy
-
Has gone
On a
Respite
-
Let’s shoot
For the stars
And when we
-
Fail
Let’s give ourselves
A much deserved break
-
And dance
In the sun
Like two hot to trot polar bears
-
Hell-bent on
Isolation
And the cool serenity
-
Of another
Scotch-taped
Morning after
